‘To Bala for a Bible’
Mary Jones walked to Bala in 1800 to buy a Bible from the Thomas Charles, and it’s still an honour to sell bibles here today. There is also a wide range of Welsh and English books for all ages, cards for every occasion and all sorts of goods.
The shop supports Tearfund, The Leprosy Mission and Traidcraft. Through these societies you will have the opportunity to purchase Fair Trade food and goods produced by people in disadvantaged countries.
