The conference is based at the beautiful Aberystwyth University campus with the main hall of the award winning Arts Centre as the venue for the larger events. We offer accommodation in the student halls of residence (here) or you can stay off-site and purchase passes for the conference (here). Wherever you stay, and for however long you visit us, we’re confident that you will be comfortable as you enjoy all that Aber has to offer.
Catering
For that extra touch of luxury, breakfast, lunch and evening meals can be bought at the University restaurant, without needing to book. Meals are great value, generally costing around £8.
The local area
There’s plenty to do in and around Aberystwyth, including the beach, coastal path, Constitution Hill, theatre, and even a steam railway. For more information, click here.
Accessibility
Most accommodation is on the first or second floor. If you’re unable to use stairs, please let us know when you book, and we will do our best to accommodate you on the ground floor. Accommodation is 10-20 minutes’ walk from our venues and is likely to include inclines. There is a free car-park approximately 100m from the main hall. Nearly all venues are accessible to wheelchairs. For more on accessibility telephone 0800 4647676
Sports facilities
The University boasts excellent sports facilities, available to conference-goers at a discounted rate. These include a swimming pool, gym, squash courts, sports hall and an all-weather pitch. We organise a conference sports’ tournament, which is open to everyone aged 12 and over.
Live streaming and WiFi
All the Bible Readings and evening preaching meetings are live-streamed over the internet. All you need is a phone, tablet or laptop with an internet connection — high-speed WiFi is provided for free throughout the campus.
