At Aber, there’s plenty for families with children of all ages. Throughout the week there will be many activities for the whole family to enjoy, like storytime, family worship, inflatable fun and perhaps even a teddy-bears’ picnic! And of course, Aber is a seaside town, so there’s plenty in the area for families to enjoy together.
Register your children today!
The registration for the children’s work is now open. It would be a massive help to the children’s work organisers if you could pre-register you kids into their selected groups. The process is simple, pain free (we hope!) and should only take a few minutes (see below). Please note that a child must have a valid ticket for the conference (accommodation or event pass) to take part in the children’s activities.
Bring your whole family for £455
To make it affordable for even the largest families to come to Aber, two adults and all their children (16 or under) can stay for the whole week for just £455 (£270 if there’s only one adult). Full details are available here.
Family bookings, how can you help us?
It has been a joy to welcome many new families to the conference over the past years, and we hope to see many extra families this year which is why we’re continuing to offer low family prices. Additionally this year we are introducing safeguarding measures to ensure that families are not required to share flats with other adults unless they have booked together, with the consent of all the parents and adults involved. To enable us to follow this policy most effectively it would be a real advantage for families to join together with others they are happy to share with to fill whole flats.
For instance a family of four, may join with grandparents to fill a six room flat in our deluxe ensuite accommodation. Alternatively two families may join together to fill a flat of ten in Cwrt Mawr. There are many permutations and possibilities! Thank you for considering this – it will help us to be as efficient as possible and maximise the use of the accommodation available to us this year.
For pre-schoolers (Tiny Tots)
Your young children are welcome to the main meetings with you, but if you prefer, we offer play, stories, activities and songs for children from six months to 4 years, during the morning Bible Readings. Or there’s a video relay in a separate room where you can let them roam while you watch and listen to the preaching.
For primary schoolers (Holiday Heroes and Mini Marvels)
5-7s and 8-11 year-olds will love the games, quizzes, stories and more on offer during the morning Bible Readings in two different groups.
For ages 11–15 (JABER)
During the morning Bible Readings, the 11–15 year-olds will be challenged to get stuck into God’s Word and find out what it means to live for Jesus.
