Many of us have looked on in shock and horror at the developing situation in Ukraine. It breaks our hearts to see evil at work, and our hearts long for justice and peace. Especially close to our hearts are our brothers and sisters. It is clear that the Church is standing strong, bringing light into the dark situation through pracitcal love and sharing of the gospel. We have put a list of resources below from some of our closest partners who are working in the region:
- The Slavic Gospel Mission – https://www.sga.org.uk/ukraine-crisis/ – includes information and prayer points
- Tearfund – https://www.tearfund.org/campaigns/ukraine-crisis – part of the DEC appeal
- European Mission Fellowship – https://www.europeanmission.org/blog/support-ukraine – includes a video of how to pray for Ukraine.
- UFM worldwide – https://www.ufm.org.uk/whom-shall-i-fear-a-war-zone-in-europe/ – also check out their Facebook page for regular updates
First of all, then, I urge that supplications, prayers, intercessions, and thanksgivings be made for all people, for kings and all who are in high positions, that we may lead a peaceful and quiet life, godly and dignified in every way. This is good, and it is pleasing in the sight of God our Savior, who desires all people to be saved and to come to the knowledge of the truth. 1 Timothy 2:1-4
We will be adding more updates and links as we gather information.
