Bethesda Evangelical Church (Hay) and EMW are working together this May bank holiday to reach out to folk at the Hay on Wye Literature Festival. The festival is a major international event attracting more than 250,000 visitors each year. A wide range of outreach activities are planned between 26-29 May. These activities include a ‘Wall of Questions’ in our marquee, ‘Any Questions’ sessions with key speakers and a guided tour of Hay by local author and national newspaper feature writer, Ollie Baulch. The folk from Bethesda will serve freshly made Welsh cakes and coffee.
There will also be crafts and face painting activities. If you are interested in serving at the Mission please get in touch with either Gordon Bingham, Bethesda Church pastor or David Norbury at the EMW Offices.
