Job Advertisement – Finance Manager
This is an opportunity to be involved in supporting the work of the gospel in Wales.
The Finance Manager is a key member of staff responsible for the day-to-day management of all the Movement’s financial processes, controls and reporting. This is a hands-on role, with currently only a small amount of administrative support, so will suit someone with experience of working in a multi-disciplined finance role.
The Evangelical Movement of Wales is looking for a highly motivated self-starter to provide resilience across our finance function.
This will involve reviewing and, if necessary, implementing new processes and procedures to strengthen and streamline our finance systems, financial controls and reporting. As such, you will need the experience and enthusiasm to drive change to meet the needs of the Movement as we continue our ministries through and beyond the coronavirus pandemic. We see this as a temporary, full-time position for up to twelve months.
There will be a permanent, part-time position on completion of the review and change programme.

The ideal candidate will be highly organised, a good communicator, have excellent analytical and spreadsheet skills, and have a partial or full accounting qualification.
