Camp 3 prayer update

Greetings from the best camp so far this summer!

Being a smaller camp than we’re used has had its advantageous. We’re enjoying good, close fellowship between our camp of 28 campers, 11 leaders and a set of twins.

Matt Francis, our chaplain, has encouraged us to fix our thoughts on Jesus in our morning meetings on Hebrews and the evening bible studies have been pointing us to the fact that Jesus saves from the book of Joshua.

So far we’ve played a wide game, team challenges, craft, volleyball and a trip to Barmouth beach. Still to come, outdoor activities and Glan Llyn, camp Olympics, and a trip to Chester.

We’re grateful for the prayers of many across the country and seeing the Lord at work already in answering those prayers. We’re also grateful for the warm welcome and hospitality that Gwydion, Catrin, and the team have provided.

Specifically, we’d ask you to pray for:

  • a small number of unsaved campers, some of whom are engaging well with the bible studies;
  • an increased willingness amongst the saved campers to be shaped by scripture rather than the world;
  • the saved campers to press on in their faith and be baptised if not already.

Thank you for partnering with us in the gospel.

Andy and the team of camp 3.
