Consider Christ
We’d love you to join us for the South Wales Women’s Conference on Saturday 25 April, 10am–2pm, at Waterfront Church, Swansea.
We’re so thankful to God for his blessing on last year’s conference. We were especially encouraged to see women from different backgrounds and walks of life coming together to worship God.
This year’s theme is Consider Christ: Finding Strength for the Journey. The writer to the Hebrews knows that life is hard — a marathon, not a sprint — and he wants to encourage us to keep going. He does this by being real about what hinders us, reminding us what helps us run, and reassuring us of the hope we have in Jesus. Together, let’s Consider Christ.
Our speaker is Elaine Macdonald from Cardiff. Elaine has many years of experience investing in women in churches and parachurch organisations, and she is passionate about encouraging women to live wholeheartedly for Jesus. She is married to Emyr, has two daughters and two granddaughters. She loves snooker and lukewarm tea — and gets plenty of stick for both!
The conference will include refreshments, brunch and a bookstall. There’s no need to book — it’s free to attend, and donations towards costs are welcome.
Further details about location and parking will be sent nearer the time.
Do join us — and feel free to invite friends from your church. We’d also really value your prayers as we continue to prepare in the coming months.
